I have many favorite books, and this book is among them. Has anyone ever read it? I read it years ago, and i was thinking about it today. Has anyone read any other books by Betty Smith? if you have, what have you thought of them?

Oh good book. Very funny at times but sad at others. I read it a few years ago. Betty Smith wrote other books? I didn't know that.

Oh, I loved A Tree Grows In Brooklyn, though it has been many years since I read it. I could be wrong, but it seems to me one of the titles of her books is Joy In The Morning though I've read nothing else except Tree.

Contrary to popular belief (or so it seems) there are many trees in brooklyn, so there.

Oh you should Caitlin it's great. But don't watch the movie till youfinish reading because it omits a lot of stuff from the book.

This is one of the very first books I read when I was a teenager. It was very moving. It's definately a classic. Star

Wow. I read this in high school, but haven't done so since then, and don't remember it all that well. You guys have made me want to read it again. Do you know if it's available on Web Braille?
